Mi chiamo Fabio Orefice e ho iniziato, come tanti, a fare fotografie da piccolo quasi per gioco.
L’ho poi abbandonata per anni a favore dei video che guardavo e riguardavo come a voler rivivere ogni singolo momento più’ e più’ volte, bulimico di quelle emozioni che a volte la memoria colpevolmente rimuoveva.
E in tutti questi anni, filo rosso trasversale di tutta la mia vita e’ stata la natura, con ogni suo aspetto, con ogni sua sfaccettatura sempre meravigliosa, anche se a volte crudele verso quell’uomo che fa fatica a comprendere il proprio ruolo nel mondo.
E’ qui che, nel pieno dell’era della condivisione, riappare la mia passione per la fotografia, come a voler attribuire una quarta dimensione alla mia memoria, con il duplice tentativo di alimentare i miei ricordi e condividerli con il mondo, nella speranza di far innamorare l’uomo ancora di più’ della natura di cui e’ ospite e non sovrano.
Da tutto questo nasce il mio hashtag #savethenaturesavethelife, da tutto questo nasce il mio sito.
My name is Fabio Orefice and I started, like many others, taking photographs as a child almost for fun. I then abandoned it for years in favor of videos that I watched over and over again as if I wanted to relive every single moment over and over again, bulimic of those emotions that sometimes the memory guiltily removed. And in all these years, the common thread running through my entire life is nature, with every aspect of it, with every facet of it, always wonderful even if sometimes cruel towards that man who struggles to understand their role in the world... It is here that, in the midst of the era of sharing, my passion for photography reappears, as if wanting to attribute a fourth dimension to my memory, with the dual attempt to nourish my memories and share them with the world, in the hope of making man fall in love even more with nature of which he is a guest and not a sovereign. From all this my hashtag #savethenaturesavethelife was born, from all this my website was born.
